About Us

SURGE is the true live acoustic set providing an entertaining and compelling show for every set they play.  Having focused on pub and bar sets of current and everlasting cover songs, SURGE is the perfect live acoustic set to keep the crowd at a venue with a drink in hand. From the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast, SURGE will be entertaining patrons to keep them walking through your door.

With a range expanding from Neil Diamond, to Matchbox 20, to Pearl Jam and everything in between SURGE creates an environment for all to enjoy and to take part in the music. We focus on playing songs that the main stream can enjoy, then add a touch of acoustic smoothness and vocal harmonies to it. Our 'Sunday Session style' creates a fun, easy-going and sing-along environment for all ages and music lovers. We aim to suit our song range to each venue we play and the audience that is wanted.

SURGE is made up of Paul Micheilin, on rythm guitar and vocals, and Kelly Jones on lead guitar and vocals. We blend smooth and rythmic guitar patterns and soothing vocals to create an atmospheric music environment for all kinds of venues.
